The other night I was laying next to Ian while Nate was playing with him. I thought this was an interesting perspective on what Ian sees when he is laying down and we are towering above him.

Garage Sale
We had our garage sale last Saturday. We didn't have much, just some clothes, books and few other random items, but we figured we were going to give the stuff to D.I. anyway, so we might as well make a few bucks off it instead. We ended up making about $45, which isn't much, but it was really fun just to sit in our camp chairs and visit for a few hours while people came and went.
We put Ian in his new swing which we scored at Boyd and Heidi's garage sale the week before (along with a bunch of other stuff...thanks so much guys). He just loves this thing!

Closing Day
Well, wish us luck. We should be closing on our house as you read this...Or we might already be homeowners! We are so excited to make it our own. We have already purchased appliances for the kitchen (and we just love them!!).
This is the link to our Range...this is not the exact same one, but it looks very similar and has similar features, including a warming drawer, convection, and smooth top!!
This is the link to look at our Fridge. And, yes, we are getting them in stainless steel!! They will be so beautiful (as long as I can keep them clear of all our hand prints...I don't think it will be too bad...I hope!).
And this is for our freezer.

Learning to Crawl
Ian is slowly teaching himself how to crawl. He often gets on his hands and knees or hands and toes and wobbles around a bit. It will be nice when he can move on his own because then he can go where he wants to without us having to move him, but on the other hand it will bad because when he can move he'll go where he shouldn't (like down the stairs)! I don't think it will be long before he get the hang of it. Here is a picture of him doing his push-ups.
This a funny shot of him sticking his arms and legs straight out. By the way, don't you just love his little outfit? I think it's great! My sister gave it to me, but I think that it used to be my older brother's when he was a baby.

Hiking Backpack
We are going camping with my family in a couple of weeks and are planning to hike Table Rock. It is a really pretty hike and you end up right next to the Grand Teton Mountains with a very pretty view of the valley as well.
Nate has been training with Ian on his back in the pack so he doesn't get too exhausted. I decided to make a couple of upgrades to the pack to keep our little guy extra comfy. I made a pillow for him so his head does not bobble around so much and I also made a removable cover for the top of the pack so that when he spits up we can take it off and wash it. The cover took me all day to figure out how to cut it and sew it right to get the design that I wanted. Well, I guess it was worth it. It will help keep the pack looking (and smelling) new for the many other babies to come!!

Hiding
While I take my shower I lay Ian down on a blanket in our walk-in closet which connects to the bathroom. The other day I finished my shower and looked in the closet for Ian but I couldn't see him anywhere. I got worried thinking that he had learned to crawl or something and had probably fallen down the stairs! Well, then I saw my clothes moving around. I peeked under the clothes and Ian was just kicking around and having a great time. I was relieved he was just fine. He loved it so much that he just dropped off to sleep while we was under there! He is always doing such cute things like that!
